Momsie Special Fried Rice

Rice is our staple food. Asian must have rice everyday :) Rice can be eaten plain with side dishes or cooked as a one dish meal like clay-pot rice , fried rice , yam rice and lotz more.

I had a yearning for fried rice , so for dinner tonite , I fried rice with mint leaves and egg and with lotz of chopped garlic , cut chilies and julienne ginger . First , I fried the mint leaves with an egg like an omelette and scrambled it and put aside. Then add in 1 teaspoon of sesame oil into wok and sauteed the chopped garlics, cut chilies and julienne ginger till fragrant. Add in a bowl of cooked rice and the scrambled omelette and stir fry till evenly mixed. Add 1 teaspoon of sea salt into the fried rice and stir again till the salt is well incorporated into the rice. Add a dash of white pepper before dishing up.

I ate the fried rice with wasabi….can ? (",) Wow…I ate it hungrily and it goes well with the wasabi!!!! It was pungent enough and really gave me the kick….I really enjoyed my dinner…simple to prepare and so yummilicious . Try eating fried rice with wasabi…. @@
