Simply Toss Shrimps And Fresh Button Mushroom Spaghetti

Why I named it  ' Simply Toss Shrimps  & Fresh Button Mushroom Spaghetti '  ? Simply because I tossed the spaghetti with the cooked shrimps and fresh mushrooms...so simple and yet it is so tasty. I try to cook simple so that I have more time for the idiot box -  ' Born Rich '  a HK drama series I am presently  obessessed watching .....ssshhh  just between you and me....from now on Daddy will have to survive on one dish meal :p  but the one dish meal must look appetizing or else " the wild boar "  Daddy will act up on me (  just kidding ). Thus , my brain has to work overtime if I have to make a one dish meal for us.

Pasta is not a problem in place of rice if I cooked it this way...with lots of herbs and shrimps .  Garlic and mixed herbs are the most important ingredients in this pasta dish.  When I served this to Daddy , I have to make it looks like a pasta dish served in an Italian restaurant or he will think I simply cook and can't wait to go back to my idiot box * wink, which I am actually ! :)  Either I pampered them too much or I simply love cooking and making my food looks great when serving them to the Piggies clan . Whatever the reason , I think food should be presented well so that even if the food doesn't taste good I am forgiven...LOL!  or psychologically, the make up will cover the bland taste then * wink

I always try to make it as simple as possible when cooking pasta. With garlic and mixed herbs as the most important ingredients in the cooking...no matter how you cook them, it will definitely comes out great. The rest of ingredients can be versatile...tomatoes, mushrooms, any seafood or even roast chicken will make your pasta taste good...really good, I mean it unless you are allergic to pasta :p  If Daddy were to forgo rice...I think I will be the happiest woman on earth :p  * take the hint Daddy * if you are reading this post :p

Fresh mushrooms of any kind , would be great for this pasta dish . Saute them in olive oil with lots of chopped garlic and mixed herbs. Add in the shrimps and some crushed toasted black pepper and sea salt to taste . If  you want it a bit wet add in 1/2 cup white wine ( optional ) and tossed in the cooked spaghetti and mix well. Serve hot.....simply tossed them together and your pasta will turn out delicious for sure :)

 mmmmm...lip smacking good......

this is good ...if you are in a rush...like me
rushing to my idiot box....* wink

I prefer to just toss in my pasta rather than fry
them together with the ingredients

Daddy did not complain...so I was happy for the moment
and keeping my fingers crossed that he will
give up eating rice and turn to sandwiches and pasta
wishful thinking on my part  :p
