I have heard so much of this China ' fu gui cai' on facebook and out of curiosity, I bought some back from Tesco during the CNY period. It was a bit pricey but seeing that it is quite light in weight, I decided to spend some money on it so that I could taste the real thing instead of imagining how this veggie would taste like :p
Some recommended stir fry with garlic and some stir fry with razor clams. I prefer to stir fry with just salt and garlic and it turned out delicious. It tasted like Bok Choy but the stem are more crunchy and sweet. Love it ! It satisfied my curiosity and if not for the price, I would love to it to my daily diet :) Simple dish and I am easily satisfied :p
this is how fu gui cai looks like before cooking
after cooking it still looks crisps and fresh :)
just stir fry with garlic and sea salt
love the crunchy stem and sweet leaves
