Super Noodle House @ Sg.Wang Plaza

Super Noodle House used to be our favourite place for breakfast , lunch & dinner whenever we are in KL coz it is near to where we put up for the nite. It is famous for their roast pork, chicken and duck rice/noodles. They served dim sum too , but we don’t really like it. Ipoh’s Ming Court is better . But their specialty is noodles. Now they served suckling pig too. A plate of suckling pig rice costs RM19 :0

Piggy gal loves their noodles and each time we go there, she will try out the noodles cooked in different style. If I am not mistaken she may have tried out all their noodles in their menu :) For Piggy boy, he loves their fried rice…especially their ‘ham yue chow fun" aka Salted Fish Fried Rice.

Daddy and Momsie love their ‘ Grilled Drumstick Rice’ that has a special ginger/garlic sauce to go with it. This rice is very special and unique coz the drumstick has a nice saltish flavor. I would recommend this dish for those who loves chicken rice :)

Those roast chicken/ducks/pork and for drooling only :)

Their menu is thick and lotz of choices to choose from...

Beaming becoz she knows what she wants for lunch...:)

Lunch @ Kim Gary

We had late lunch (3pm) Kim Gary. The East Meets West kinda fusion restaurant… frankly speaking, it was not my cuppa of tea, but becoz we were hungry and most of the eating places were deserted, we hopped in to Kim Gary. You will be surprised that at KG, it was packed and noisy and it took quite a while for our food to arrived. This was our second time to have lunch at KG. The first was at Mid Valley and now in SgWang. Gosh…I noticed people talked at the top of their voices to be heard. Hmmm……...

Piggy boy ordered this...Baked Curry with cheese topping with rice/spaghetti
a set @ RM13 comes with soup and a drink
Taste - doesn't blend at all....east meet west :)

Daddy chose Grilled Meat with Garlic sauce
Rice/Spaghetti @13.80 comes with soup and a drink

YummZdelicious Durian Puffs

On the way to the Piggy boy’s college, we spotted this Cafe selling crispy puffs. It is called KafĂ© 1A Crispy Puffs. They have a wide varieties of puffs namely the chicken curry puff , otak-otak puff, yam puff and their most famous puff – the Durian puff.

I bought 6 durian puffs @RM2.80 a piece , for our snacks . It is situated near the Bukit Bintang LRT station. It is the best durian puff I have eaten so far. The durian paste (80% durian flesh ) is thick and so fragrant. YUMMYdelicious to all durian lovers. A must try if you are around the area.

The name of the cafe selling these crispy puffs

they identify the durian puffs by the green stamp

Mouth-watering 'Or Chien ' @ Jalan Alor

Wheew..I‘m back. Piggy boy needed to register and check-in to his hostel room on the 13th May . Have to make sure that all things are in order for him before he starts his college life on the 26th. Whilst Daddy had his meeting fixed during this time, I took this opportunity to take a short break and spend some quality time with the Piggies coz they will be back to studies soon. How I am going to mizz them ! *sobz ,sobz **

We had a busy day buying stuffs /groceries for Piggy boy to take to the hostel. Guess it is every Momsie’s instinct to stock up dry food stuff for her babies in case they go hungry in the nite. Haizz…. Don’t shake your head….haha that’s why God made WOMEN! MEN will say don’t spoilt the children! It takes the fun out of having childen then, if you can’t pamper the children. I pampered them but I spared not the rod too :)

The first nite , we walked to Jalan Alor to have dinner there. Daddy was not feeling well..stomach disorder ,so he gave it a missed :( . Jalan Alor has a lot to offer when it comes to food. All the yummZ delicious hawkers food. I spotted many durian stalls there. Boy, wished Daddy and Ernest were there with us.

We ordered their special ‘Or Chien ’- the omelette is the crispy type(different from the Penang style) , Fried Koay Teow and I tried out their Century Egg Porridge - ‘ Pei Tan Chook ‘ coz I just recovered from a bad cough not wanting to eat anything oily….surprisingly the porridge was nice. There were so much to eat but becoz Daddy was waiting for his dinner ,we had a quick one and bought back a packet of porridge for him. See, how considerate we were ….sacrificed our gastronomic desire just for his sake….. ^^

A Hearty Luncheon

We had a hearty luncheon at Huang Tin Restaurant in First Garden. ( Sorry , can’t remember the road name ) It was not our intention to have lunch there . We were in First Garden to hunt for the thorny fruit called ‘Durians ’ but to our disappointment we can’t find any. So, since we were there , I recommended this place for lunch .

We were lucky to find a place to park our butts , for shortly after we ordered our dishes, the crowd came in. After half an hour , the place was packed. Haha… and we were served not too long and we had a hearty luncheon together on a wonderful Mother’s Day :)

' Nia Yau Kai ' - RM14
the egg shreds were crispy...yummZ

Curry Fish Head - RM16

Kai Lan with garlic oil - RM6

Claypot beancurd - RM8

Rating: Good

If I could spend every single day of my life with my Piggies I would have 365 days of Mother’s Day and that would be the best gift from God ….haha just wishing upon the stars .

I wanted to get a food processor but not sure which brand to buy coz my faithful Moulinex died on me a year ago. A new Moulinex processor would costs me RM250 so I shelved the idea of getting myself one, since it is not that important, and I have been doing without my MP for almost a year.

Ha..and I got this sexy baby as my pressies for Mother’s Day from Daddy.Thanks Daddy…for next year MD , I want Ariston O_ _ _ can??? (",)

This 'sexy baby ' will help make my cooking and baking so much easier
