Pan Grilled Cinnamon Flavored Red Wine Sauce Drumstick

I have some leftovers of homemade cinnamon flavored red wine sauce from making Red Wine Pear Cake. Instead of wasting the red wine sauce, I decided to use them for my  pan grilled drumstick for Wild Boar's dinner.  He is not a fisherman  fish man so this very aromatic pan grilled meat is a welcome for him.  He loves it especially the cinnamon flavored red wine sauce .  The flavored red sauce infused well into the meat and when you pan grilled it....wow...the smell is darn good ...believe me * drooling this thinking of it.  Arrrrgh...I wish I could have a piece for myself but NO ! I have to be satisfied with my piece of salmon  which I will share with you guys later :)  Meanwhile be happy with this Cinnamon Flavored Red Wine  Sauce Pan Grilled Drumstick !  There is no boundary for me where cooking western food is concerned LOL!

This would be great for a christmas dinner and Wild Boar thought that it Christmas came early :) LOL! and all those fresh cranberries goodness lately....I really have to go for my brisk walk exercise again. I am looking more like a water tub instead of a oversized vase :p  Oink Oink ! Haih....I love food and I love cooking and baking...how not to have a body shape like a water tub ???  Wild Boar ! he is worst ! He looks like a beer barrel now!  Ooops....shhhhhh don't let out to him or he will pan grill me with the wine sauce !!!!!

the homemade red wine sauce complemented the meat well
so do not worry if you have leftovers of this cinnamon flavored
red wine when you make your Red Wine Pear Cake which I am going
to share with you on my Sweet Delights blog :)

Wild Boar chomped it down fast and asked for more
tsk tsk...I told him no more LOL!  and greedily ate more slices
of my Red Wine Pear Cake for dessert !

I lightly stir fry some carrots slices ,onion rings and
button mushrooms with balsamic vinegar and a pinch
of sea salt as a side to go with this delicious meat dish :)

  2. Lena...yup...tasty ! remember we don't get to eat this anywhere LOL! Just cook the red wine, cinnamon and sugar and lesser water if not making the pears - reduction method ( until the sauce thickens and liquid reduced . Not sure can call me any time :)

  7. This looks wonderful, Elin! What a great idea to use up the red wine sauce from your cake. It looks like it gave the perfect glaze to this dish. Your cake looks so very pretty as well! I am sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
