Many people have asked me again and again “ do you eat out at all or you cook most of the time ? ” Of course, I do eat out on days that I want to relax and not having to put on the apron can be a bliss at times :p
Being a food blogger for homecooked food has its perk. Sometimes I feel like a celebrity..ahem .. for people sometimes come up to me and greet me “ Hey, Elin ” Seriously, I used to enjoy being recognised as Elin of Elinluv.com. At market place or shopping complex, people do approach me and tell me that they love my blog. Once, I met a lady at Big Bad Wolf Sales, who walked up to me and say “ Hey Elin, I read your blog posts and I have tried out a few of your recipes and all turned out well ” Sometimes, I do have blushes when given such praises :) Fancy meeting your loyal reader at a book fair and at the cookery section , whom you have not met at all and she walked up to you and say hi . I am thankful that there are many people who come to support my blogs everyday and most of them have tried out the recipes that I shared out with them.
Of late, I have a busy schedule which leave me dead tired after a hard day . With food projects that keep coming, I am exhausted by the end of the day. I have no choice but to eat out or have food delivered to my doorstep. I am so happy that foodpanda, shogun2u are around for making my hectic schedule easy for my family.
And recently, I discovered Saleduck , a No 1 voucher website in Malaysia that offers new deals every day and at present has 451 deals at 68 webshops. The food categories offers lots of promo codes which enables my family to enjoy great deals for the day. With Saleduck, I am able to enjoy food delivered to my doorstep at great deals. My husband will check out for great deals and he will surprise me with food vouchers . His famous words are “ No need to cook, just order and here are the vouchers..have the food delivered so that I do not have to drive out and eat with crowds ”. With food being delivered from restaurant to the doorstep, I could have a more relaxing evening with the family.
