Serendipity x Water4Life - A Worthy Cause

Today is Monday and what better day to kickstart some really exciting news I’d like to share with you all. As women, we all love beautiful accessories, and dainty charms. If you’d give me the honour of reading this post, I’d like to share with you a way that you that look good, and feel good whilst doing so.

Serendipity by JoW  [] was founded out of a passion for fashion and design, but more importantly, the company seeks to incorporate a huge philanthropical aspect into its business. A percentage of every Serendipity sale goes towards supporting a cause in which the company believes in and supports.

Right now, Serendipity has formed a collaboration with The University of Nottingham and Engineers Without Borders Malaysia to help fund efforts to provide clean water access for the Penan community in Baram, Sarawak. 30% of every Serendipity jewel from the Water4Life line goes towards funding equipment, manpower, transport and materials in order to make this mission possible.

Water is such an important necessity, but yet it is something that so many of us take for granted. It is rare that we think of the huge percentage of people in this world that have access to clean water. Children are dying daily from diseases that stem from contaminated water, women spend hours trekking through dangerous terrains just to get small amounts of water from contaminated wells, because they have no choice. Not many people realize how easy and affordable it is to change these statistics, most times it takes the right education and simple water treatment methods to curb the spread of this dilemma.

I’m confident that together we can solve the issues related to clean water access. We can all do our part. Do visit look around and see if you find anything, if you’re shopping for a gift, every item comes beautifully gift wrapped so it’s ready for gift giving. Pretty gifts to give the gift of life, what greater gift is there.

Thank you for reading.
