
This flan with raw sugar sauce by dailydelicious is special in a way that its preparation is different from the many that I have read and tried out. Those that I have tried out uses caramel but this uses muscovado sugar . As usual , I will not be happy if I did not try it out. It is indeed one of the best that I have eaten. After baking ,the muscovado sugar will melt and the taste is exactly like caramel. Delicious and after every mouthful one tends to scream for more. Try it and no regrets, I assure you :)
Now you guys know why I love her blog so much :) I think I have become her stalker ...heehee juz kidding. Thanks , dailydelicious for this simple to make and delicious flan. A keeper for sure.
* Piggy gal loves egg custards and everytime she visits this coffee shop in old town, she never fails to order their famous egg custard . Now, I can proudly say that Momsie can also make yummilicious custard too! You can serve this flan as dessert when you are entertaining guest for dinner. I know for sure my Piggy gal will love it

ReplyDelete@natasya: Sorry overlook ur comment. I use half whip cream and half full cream milk. Yup..easy but do not overbake coz it will not be smooth then.
ReplyDelete@ Min: I got it from Yummy in Ipoh Garden South opp the famous tom yum pan mee shop. I am not sure whether can use brown sugar. But muscovado sugar will definitely give you the caramel taste :)
