Banana Cream Pie

I have this Williams-Sonoma Pie & Tart book since March this year but have not done anything from this book. Piggies must have dessert after dinner and I was out of idea what pie that is simple and easy to prepare . So I looked through my collection of recipe books and found this Banana Cream Pie from the Williams-Sonoma Pie & Tart. I will be trying out more pies & tarts from this book, so stay tuned :)))

First time making this pie and I find the pie crust yummy crunchy and it is indeed simple and easy to prepare. A very good pie for after dinner dessert. Lots of banana in it and it tasted fantastic with a dollop of whip cream. I used the non-diary cream as topping.

My two Piggies gave their thumbs up for this pie. Piggies requested to have this pie again before they go back to college so I will be making it again.

pour custard on the layers of bananas and
chilled in the fridge for 3 hours till the custard sets

Serve cold with a dollop of whip cream
as topping

I like this banana cream pie and would recommend you to try it. Nutritiously yummy and a good treat for the young and old :)))
